It is this dance form that sustains Antara Nritya Niketan.

Antara prides itself in taking the lead in the revival of the dance form of Bharatanatyam and scaling new heights in its development and preservation. Antara has also been to the forefront in making this dance form popular and dance Choreography is a niche that it has carved for itself.

Whilst blooming and blossoming over the years, Antara Nritya Niketan has also enriched the world of Indian Classical Dance through its contributions. The city of Pune, the heart of education & learning of India, has added a new dimension to its already rich culture due to the presence of Antara Nritya Niketan.

Sukanya Gurav won a special prize at a national level competition organised by "SUNAYANA" and Central Govt of India. This competition was held at New Delhi on the14th November 2011. Dr.Padma Subramanyam blessed and gave away the award to Sukanya.

Sukanya Gurav, a student of Antara, won a prize in the Junior Category Competition held at Sharada Sangeet Vidyalaya, Mumbai.

Sukanya Gurav perfomed her Arangetram on 20th February 2011. This was one of the first performances for the 'Silver Jubilee' celebration of Antara Bharatantyam Academy.

Kum. Madhura Akkalkotkar has been awarded National Scholarship for Bharatanatyam from the Cultural Center for Performing Arts, New Delhi. Also won the Balsangeet Nritya Competition Award and a cash prize at the hands of noted singer - Rahul Deshpande. This competition was held in Pune on 10th Dec 2010.

Antara students performed a group choreography for the Dignity Foundation, Wanowrie on 10th of December 2010.

Antara Students Ruchika Iyer and Madhura Akkalkotkar performed for the 2nd memory day of Pandita Guru Smt. Rohini Bhate at the Kalachayya Auditorium, Patrakar Nagar, Pune.

Antara's Students at various levels stood first class with distinction at the exams conducted by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and Gandharva Mahavidyalay.

Students of Smt.Anuradha Jog performed in various youth festivals and Sabha's on diffrent occasions throughout the country.

Aranya Nrarain one of Anuradhaji's students passed Master's degree in Bharatanatyam from the Bengluru University, First class with Distinction.

Students of Smt. Anuradha Jog will be perfoming to celebrate Antara Nritya Niketan's Silver Jubilee at Balshikshan School Auditorium, Mayur Colony, Kothrud, Pune on following dates:
- 19th February 2012, Sunday, 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
- 20th February 2012, Monday, 5.00pm to 8.00pm.
