Antara Nritya Niketan won the 1st Group Trophy as a Special Prize from among 18 States at The Tamil Sangam & Sunaina Combined Dance Festival at New Delhi in the first week of November'12.

Antara Nritya Niketan students, Shuchika Joshi, Sukanya Gurav and Shreeya Deshmukh won 1st, 2nd and consolation prizes at The Sunayana Dance Festival at New Delhi in the first week of November'12.

Antara Nritya Niketan student, Sapna Sastakar presented the Arangetram of her 4 students in Pune on September 9, 2012. The performances that mark the beginning of Antara's second generation journey, had Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, the noted scientist, as the Chief Guest. The students were presented with Certificates on the ocassion, in the presence of Guru Anuradha Jog.

Antara Nritya Niketan student, Kum.Shreeya Deshmukh attended a Bharatanatyam dance workshop organised by Spick-Macay at IIT Powai, Mumbai from 1st to 5th October 2012.The workshop included yoga sessions, dance exercises, lectures and demonstrations by noted artistes in the field.
